Griffith City Council Appoints New General Manager
Griffith City Council has appointed Scott Grant as General Manager on a five-year performance based contract, following a competitive selection process supported by LG Services Group.
LG Services Group supported Griffith City Council in recruiting its next General Manager. Following a competitive selection process, the council announced the appointment of Scott Grant to the position of General Manager, effective 25 August 2025, under a five year performance based contract.
Mr Grant brings over 14 years of leadership experience across local government, non-profit and private sectors. His prior roles include Director City Lifestyles at Campbelltown City Council, Chief Operating Officer and Deputy CEO with Cricket Australia, and Chief Operating Officer with Hyundai Motor Company Australia.
Mayor Doug Curran said: "We're very pleased to have Mr Grant joining us as General Manager. I look forward to working very closely with Scott on projects and priorities our community has told us are important to them. The depth of his knowledge, proven leadership skills and community-focused approach will be an asset to Griffith as we continue to grow and evolve."
