Patrick Cannon is a highly motivated waste management professional possessing more than thirty years’ experience in waste management roles including over ten years spent more recently in local government.  

Patrick understands the steps local government must take to continue delivering services in a dynamic and increasingly complex environment, whist providing a focus on delivering the outcomes of the State Government Waste Reduction Targets which are embedded within the Central Queensland Regional Waste and Resource Recovery Management Plan (the Plan).

Patrick will be working collaboratively across all councils within CQROC, the State Government and Industry to deliver short-, medium- and long-term outcomes focused on diverting waste from landfill with a focus on delivering circular economy initiatives across the region.
