We’re in search of a Director of Civil Services to join our team, working alongside our General Manager and executive leaders. Your role will involve leading the strategic asset planning and delivery of essential services such as roads, bridges, water and sewer, asset management, and parks and gardens.
This is a newly designed role for Inverell Shire Council, providing an opportunity to bring in fresh perspectives and modern methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of civil services in Inverell Shire.
You will be a person with a can-do flexible attitude and not be process driven; be outcome focused and this means “how to make things happen” and not “why it can’t happen”.

Success in this role requires a strong commercial project focus and relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
